
John Englehardt is a writer and educator from the Pacific Northwest. His first novel, Bloomland, won the Dzanc Books Prize for Fiction, the VCU Cabell First Novelist Award, and was named a book of the year by Kirkus Reviews and Electric Literature. He has previously taught writing classes at Seattle University, Hugo House, and University of Arkansas, where he received an MFA in fiction. Currently, he is a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Pacific Lutheran University.
